The professional baseball Samsung Lions enter the spring camp schedule to prepare for the 2023 season. The Samsung club said, “The players participating in the camp will leave the country on the 30th.”
This battery training will be held in Okinawa for 40 days. The team will depart on Korean Air flight KE755 through Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 at 8:05 am on the 30th and return home on March 10th.
The camp will be held at Akama Stadium in Onna Village, Okinawa, Japan. The team plans to conduct both training and practice matches here.
A total of 10 practice matches were prepared in Okinawa. Nippon Ham on February 9th, Chunichi on the 11th and 12th, Hanshin on the 19th, and Yomiuri on March 4th. Against domestic teams, we will have practice matches against the Lotte Giants on February 28, the KIA Tigers on March 1 and 5, the SSG Landers on the 6th, and the Hanwha Eagles on the 8th.
This year, the Futures (2nd team) team will also set up a camp in Okinawa. The Futures team will depart on the Korean Air flight KE755 at 8:05 am on the 31st and return to Incheon on the 26th of February.
On February 16th, we will also play a practice match against Nippon Ham. The Futures team will set up a separate training ground in the Ishikawa area. 먹튀검증
In this camp roster, a total of 43 players will join the first-team camp, including 22 pitchers, 4 catchers, 10 infielders, and 7 outfielders. In Futures, 36 players, including 12 rookies, were named to the roster.
The position of the coaching staff to accompany the players this season has also been confirmed. First of all, coach Lee Byeong-gyu was appointed as the head coach to assist coach Park Jin-man in the first team. Coach Jung Hyun-wook and coach Park Han-i will lead the pitcher and batting part following last year (2022).
Japanese coaches are also newly added. Coach Tabata, who will be in charge of the Futures pitching part, completed his career as a player at Yomiuri and has been coaching at Yomiuri and Yakult since 2012.
Coach Tachibana, who will lead the Futures batting team, played for Seibu and Hanshin, and since 1998 has been active as a coach at Softbank and Rakuten. Coach Naito also joins the conditioning part.
The upbringing team is led by coaches Park Hee-soo, Kim Jeong-hyeok, and Jeong Byeong-gon. Coach Bae Young-seop supports the batting part in the first team, and coach Park Chan-do is in charge of running and outfield for the Futures.
