National team defender Park Ji-soo has advanced to the Portuguese league.

The Portimonense club of the Portuguese league announced today (26th) the recruitment of five players, including Park Ji-soo.

The contract period is known to be 1 year and 6 months until next summer. Park Ji-soo was discharged from the position of managing director in Gimcheon last month and has completed his military service. Due to the financial difficulties of his original team, Guangzhou FC, he obtained FA (free agent) status.

He injured his ankle in a friendly match ahead of the World Cup and was unable to participate in the finals, but was one of former national team coach Paulo Bento’s favorite pupils. 스포츠토토

Park Ji-soo said at his joining press conference, “(Director Bento) spoke to coach Portimonense. Thank you.”

In Portimonense, Lee Seung-woo worked as a rental in the past, and currently Korean prospect Kim Yong-hak is active.

It is a team that was promoted to the 1st division in 2017 and is running 12th in the league this season.
