“The Dodgers have reclaimed first place in the National League West on the back of a recent offensive surge,” MLB.com noted, “and Freeman exploded last week with three home runs, one triple, a 5-for-8 performance and seven RBIs.”

Freeman has gone 14-for-24 with three doubles, a triple, a home run and seven RBIs in six games, starting on 18 April against the Baltimore Orioles.

The Dodgers recently swept a three-game series against Baltimore and a three-game series against the Texas Rangers. MLB.com called Freeman’s performance “a game-winner.”
