According to the Malaysian media <The Straits Times>, Raj announced the news of joining Cheongju FC through his social media. Raj, who is also nicknamed ‘Corgi’ in his country, has been awarded the title of the first K-League in the history of Malaysian football through this transfer.

Raj, who is only 24 years old this year, is a second-line striker who took an elite course from the Malaysia U-16 national team to the A national team. His A match record is 2 goals in 8 appearances. He made his professional debut at Sri Pahang in 2016 and has been playing for Fataling Jaya City for the past two years. Raj looks set to make his K League 2 debut through the ASEAN quota.
