K League One Suwon FC’s Lee Seung-woo is once again being linked with a move to Europe.

Recently, Italian media such as Calcio Hellas reported that Frosinone, who were promoted to the Italian Serie A this season, are interested in signing Lee Seung-woo.바카라사이트

“It is true that Frosinone made an offer for Lee Seung-woo in the summer market,” Lee Seung-jun, who represents Lee in Korea, told KBS.

“We are currently in personal negotiations with Frosinone, but there are differences of opinion on details such as salary, so we are in the process of coordinating,” Lee said.

Despite the influx of European transfer speculation, including concrete offers, Lee is said to have expressed his desire to do his best to stay in the top flight with his current club Suwon FC.

Lee said, “Seung-woo has entrusted his transfer negotiations to a local agent in Europe. Seung-woo has a lot of affection for Suwon FC. In particular, Suwon FC is in a difficult situation, such as the recent drunk driving case of Ras, so Seung-woo is in a position to do his best for Suwon FC for now.”

With the European transfer window closing in just over two weeks, Seung-woo is no stranger to the Italian scene, having spent two seasons with Hellas Verona in Italy from July 2017. He also speaks fluent Italian, so communication and adjustment to the league shouldn’t be a problem.

Lee still has more than a year left on his contract with Suwon FC, but the club is open to any transfer offers from Europe, even if they are still under contract.

Lee made a successful debut in the K League last year, scoring 14 goals in his debut season.

In his second year, he struggled to find the back of the net, but after recently switching to a central midfield role, he has been all over the pitch, helping Suwon FC escape the relegation zone.

Lee Seung-woo’s YouTube highlight video of the Suwon Derby, in which he scored his fourth goal of the season against Suwon on 5 May, has been viewed more than 1.1 million times in just over five days, proving that his star power is still unrivalled in the K League.

Lee’s rise to prominence in Europe is expected to be a major factor in Suwon FC’s late-season relegation battle, as well as the success of the K League.
