Lee Je-hyeok (26, Seoul Sports Association for the Disabled), ‘the hope of Korea’s para-snowboarders’, once again proved himself to be the strongest in the Winter Games.

Lee Jae-hyeok swept first place in the men’s snowboard cross and giant slalom at the 20th Para Winter Games held at Welli Hilli Park in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do on the 10th, winning two gold medals.

Lee Je-hyeok, who missed out on a medal by being eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Beijing Winter Paralympic Games last year, had no rivals in Korea. In the snowboard cross, her main event, she showed off her unrivaled skills by more than 10 seconds beating Kim Yun-ho (45 seconds 63) of Incheon, who came second with a time of 35 seconds and 19 seconds. In the giant slalom match that followed, he confidently climbed to first place with a time of 1 minute and 29 seconds, reporting two gold medals in the tournament.

Lee Je-hyeok won the 2022 Europa Cup in the Netherlands and Finland last season in a row and rose to world class, and also took first place in the men’s 스포츠토토general division of snowboard cross at the 75th National Ski Championships.
